Arizona Man Admits to Super Bowl Porn Hacking

A former cable employee admitted in court today that he interrupted a Tucson-area telecast of the 2009 Super Bowl with a 37-second clip of “Wild Cherries 5.”

Pima County prosecutors said Frank Tanori Gonzalez, 39, pleaded guilty to two counts of computer tampering when he broke into Comcast’s cable system at 7:30 p.m. on Super Bowl night and was able to use computer equipment to telecast the porn video.

The clip, which included performers Evan Stone and Tristan Kingley, aired three minutes before the Arizona Cardinals lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Comcast ended up giving its 80,000 Tucson-area subscribers a $10 credit on future bills.

He will be sentenced Dec. 1.
