Hollywood, CA – XBiz Magazine has named Beverly Hillbillies XXX as the Best Parody-Comedy of 2012 at a lavish awards show in Santa Monica, California prompting the movie’s leading actress Kagney Linn Karter and director Will Ryder to strip naked, look at each other in joyous disbelief and embrace in a hug before walking up on stage to accept the beautiful glass trophy. All of that really happened except for the strip naked part.
“Kagney was naked in my mind,” Ryder remarked.
“Kagney and everybody in this cast including Haley Hewes as Granny did a wonderful job bringing the classic television show to life filling it with glorious sex almost like a baker fills a donut with crème filling,” Ryder stated.
“I am really proud and want to thank XBiz for naming this the best of the year because we beat out some big movies.”
The star-studded award show got off to a quick start for the two who were backstage just about to take the stage with Channel Preston to present the award for Best New Starlet.
“We didn’t expect this at all but we secretly hoped we would win,” stated Kagney who played the hillbilly role of Ellie Mae Clampett to perfection.
Not only was this movie a fine collaboration between the cast and crew but it also was a co-production between Adam and Eve Pictures and X-Play that continues a successful tradition between the two studios of winning top awards. The companies first paired up to win best parody awards for Not Bewitched XXX and followed it up the following year with best comedy trophies for Flight Attendants.
“There is magic every time we do a big movie together,” stated Adam & Eve general manager Bob Christian.
“These are finely crafted movies that the audience really seems to enjoy because they are fun.”
Meredith Christopher Adam and Eve Pictures’ head of production joined Christian and members of the cast and crew as they mobbed the stage in a spirited celebration.
“This is a really funny movie and I’m so happy to see all of this hard work recognized by XBiz,” Christopher remarked as she celebrated with the cast over a bottle of champagne backstage.
Veteran funnyman James Bartholet who played uptight banker Mr. Drysdale happily ran off with the trophy proud of the team effort.
“I can’t believe it. I’m so happy to have been included in this production. Thank you X-Play thank you Adam and Eve and thank you XBiz.”
