Senior civil servant from Inner Mongolia becomes latest Communist Party member to face public disgrace after investigators discover his penchant for real estate and smut

A Chinese official has been sacked after anti-corruption authorities swooped down on his properties and found at least 100 erotic movies hidden under his Buddha statue.

Wu Zhizhong, a senior civil servant from Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and a member of the Communist Party, becomes the latest public official facing disgrace and humiliation after anti-corruption agents discovered tons of money and real estate purchases in his properties and a stash of more than 100 pornographic films under the statue of Buddha.

Wu’s flourishing career has totally been destroyed after the discovery following President Xi Jinping’s major campaign against pornography and corruption.
