Adult star Christy Mack, who says she was savagely beaten by her MMA fighter ex, posted photos from her stunning recovery on social media and made her first public appearance since the attack over the weekend.
Mack attended at charity event in Los Angeles Saturday in support of an organization called Face Forward, which funds surgeries for victims of domestic or gang violence.
“I’m actually doing very well, healing really well,” Mack, looking glamorous in a purple gown, told a TMZ interviewer.
“I’ve had a lot of great support from my friends and my fans, so that’s definitely helping me along,” she said.
On Sunday, Mack posted an update about her recovery to Instagram. Supporters have been raising funds to pay for her medical care and doctors have been donating their services, she said.
Koppenhaver a.k.a. War Machine, who faces life in prison over the attack, was arraigned in Las Vegas on September 3
