Craigslist: Dude Wants To Hire Surrogate To Troll Dating Sites For Him

Some people advertise the strangest jobs online.

A self-described and anonymous ‘successful entrepreneur’ apparently needs so much help with his dating life that he is in the market for an ‘online dating surrogate’ and has taken to Craigslist to find a suitable female candidate.

Would-be job seekers would be compensated $100 a week, but must meet the requirements of being ‘pretty, thin and educated’ and in their twenties or thirties.

The entrepreneur gives no indication about his background but he advertises the position from Manhattan’s Flatiron district.

The ideal candidate would work for about an hour a day and ‘review profiles’ from three or four dating sites.

All the women that match up to the entrepreneur’s criteria will be ‘favorited.’ He would like his online surrogate to correspond with the ‘favorites’ and coordinate dates.

Along with the stipend, another ‘perk’ for the gig is that the surrogate could set their own hours and work from ‘anywhere you choose.’

Those interested in the position are asked to e-mail via Craigslist a photo, resume and a ‘lengthy enough response to assess [writing ability.]’
