We shoot lots of hot new pornstars and fetish models and over the past few weeks lots of things have happened in the adult industry that may change the way we work which to me is un-American. After reading this story on USA Today
I decided to get involved and offer my semi experienced input ( I was trained in OSHA Competent Person, Hazmat/biohazard and more for Union work in Nuclear Power Plants) and this was my response:
Having OSHA regulations in place at hospitals does not prevent nurses/doctors from coming in contact with the virus nor prevent the transmission, it only limits potential exposure. OSHA regulations on construction sites do not prevent employee death and serious injury they just minimize risk….. Whether its condoms that can break or testing, the risk we take in the course of our employment should be our own, not the government’s so they can levy taxes on another industry to line their pockets and revive the economy they screwed up. Talent Testing is as effective in our industry as the safety protocols for any other industry in this nation…… Hell there’s no measure preventing our soldiers from getting shot and their mortality risk is much higher, why not focus on saving their lives first???

After reading that, I was really starting to get skeptical of the reports and wondered how responsible professional TALENT in the industry would do things to jeopardize their careers especially with the rules and policies KINK has in place see HERE on their site and this is an exact copy of the text on that page:
Model Rights
- I can stop any scene at any time by using the house safe-word “RED”.
- I will be given (and should demand) a recognizable safe-word in the event that I am gagged or otherwise unable to say “RED”. This can be a verbal “Uh-Uh” or a non-verbal signal such as a hand signal.
- Upon use of my safe-word, I am entitled to ask for the scene to completely end or for the shoot to completely end. Only if I explicitly consent, can the scene continue at a slower pace.
- I am entitled to personally sanitize any items that are used on me.
- I am entitled to ask to see fresh condoms applied to any item used on me.
- I am entitled to ask to see STD tests for any other model I have sexual contact with.
- I am entitled to ask any model or producer to wear sanitary gloves before touching my genitals.
- I am entitled to ask to have any item tested on me before the scene begins (such as nipple clamps, gags etc).
- I can finish the shoot at any time and will be entitled to the proportion of the modeling fee earned (e.g. If I decide to end a 4 hour shoot after 3 hours, I will be entitled to 75% of the original fee).

Check out lines 4, 5 and 6 then ask yourself, “If this was what I do for a living wouldn’t I follow those protocols in my private life too?” Most people who work in areas where protocols are in place follow them in their private lives just as religiously. Then things got really out of whack when AHF released this article that many believe to be false:

Now once I read that the logical side of me focused on very few words “AHF’s political agenda” Next thing I knew I was on Twitter making a statement and getting bashed by people who have no clue what is really behind all this. It’s the same as the war on drugs, the Syria issues, 911 and other big news items are there for REVENUE FEAR AND CONTROL!!! As long as we remain ignorant to what they are doing and follow blindly like sheep we have no right to call ourselves FREE AMERICANS. Please do your research and discover a few major facts:
OSHA is not an official government entity they were started by Insurance Companies to limit their liability on claims
Nurses aren’t required to wear Prick Proof Hazmat Suits when dealing with Aids patients why isn’t this an AHF cause too?
Why aren’t we requiring food preparation, medical staff and other industries people with unsafe sex practices work for and frequent to be tested like porn professionals
Why aren’t we focusing on the 70% of the population that has or had Chlamydia outside the industry?
Condoms are the highest ranked form of protection with roughly a 1% failure rate which is 1 in 100 condoms with proper testing protocols and experienced staff we have hundreds of performers shooting thousands of scenes every year and have 1 case that may not even have been an on-set transmission which tells me testing works. Now I am not your average porn talent and I work with a limited pool of fresh models and models who have shown responsible behavior. With my small talent pool I also have to have concern for my wife and family. As it turns out, half of them are in the medical field and trust the adult industries protocols more than the hospital but who is going to fight big business like healthcare united under (cough) President Obama??? Nobody, they’re going to focus on privately owned semi divided competitive entities. Don’t let AHF take away your God given right to choose how you live your life as a free American.
