Exile Distribution has announced that it is now shipping the Forbidden Fruits Films’ summer blockbuster Call Me Mother.
According to the breakout studio of 2013, the erotic thriller is the company’s largest and most ambitious project to date.
The film has already been met with high anticipation including an unprecedented amount of pre-orders according to Exile Distribution President Howard Levine.
“Forbidden Fruits Films is a studio that has broken all the rules in a declining market. Most studios can barely sell out a first run on a title and we are constantly headed back to the replicator to make sure all of their titles are always in stock,” added Levine. “The success of their titles has spurred a movement throughout the industry and turned Taboo Erotica into what the Parody was five years ago. A lot of big name studios have tried to follow suit but Forbidden Fruits still stands on top of the pedestal and Call Me Mother is going to be the film that sweeps the awards this year.”
The film which was written and directed by Harry Sparks, famous for his work on Revenge of the Petites and The Vampire Mistress, follows the story of 18-year-old high school senior Jennifer (Callie Calypso), who lives at home with her father (Tony De Sergio) and enjoys hanging out with her best friend Tracy (Payton Simmons) and loves her boyfriend Danny (T. Stone). But Jennifer’s life abruptly changes when she begins an affair with Grace (Jodi West), her sexy new stepmother. Tensions ramp up when Jennifer tries to end the relationship, but Grace refuses to let go.
“As the release date for Call Me Mother approaches Jodi and I couldn’t be more excited,” claimed Jay West, co-owner of Forbidden Fruits Films. “We put so much energy, money, time, and attention to detail into making this production a stand out film. For the lucky few who have had the opportunity to see a pre-screening of the film they were blown away. The plot is amazing, the casting is perfect, and the sex is unbelievable. Call Me Mother will prove that content is still king and our team couldn’t be more proud of how this film turned out.”
Call Me Mother is now shipping and will street August 27th. The movie will exclusively be available on DVD for the first month and is scheduled to hit VOD sites in early October.
