Holly Madison is giving new meaning to the phrase “chest of gold.” The 31-year-old former Girls Next Door and Dancing with the Stars contestant tells People that she recently took out a $1 million insurance policy on her breasts with Lloyd’s of London. The reason: to protect her famous assets and those of the other performers in Peepshow, the Las Vegas topless burlesque show in which she’s currently appearing.
“I’ve heard about people getting body parts insured and I thought, why not?” she says. “Because if anything happened to my boobs, I’d be out for a few months and I’d probably be out a million dollars. I thought I’d cover my assets.”
The former girlfriend of Hugh Hefner isn’t kidding. She appears topless during various segments of Peepshow, and thus really would be out of business if anything happened to her chest.
Madison has admitted to a previous breast augmentation that bumped her up from an A-cup to a D-cup. They are a huge investment and deserve to be protected, but that doesn’t stop Madison from seeing the humor in the situation.
“I think it’s kind of funny. I think they’re getting the credit they deserve,” she says. “They’re my primary money makers right now.”
That’s not the only curvy part of Madison’s body that she thinks deserves proper attention and care. Earlier this year she revealed to Life & Style that she has cellulite and is not concerned about it.
“I’ve always had a butt, and I want to keep it — cellulite and all,” Madison said. “I’m not perfect, but I love my curves.”
