LGBT groups have laid into a documentary about gay Mormon men who have married women to try and live as heterosexuals.
The TLC series ‘My Husband’s Not Gay’ airs this month, and follows four men living in Salt Lake City, Utah, who are all members of the anti-gay Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
However, LGBT groups are not impressed with the show – which LGBT media charity GLAAD claims is damaging and dangerous.
GLAAD boss Sarah Kate Ellis said: “This show is downright irresponsible. No one can change who they love, and, more importantly, no one should have to.
“By investing in this dangerous programming, TLC is putting countless young LGBT people in harm’s way.”
