ArchAngel Director MimeFreak has been nominated for quite a few directorial awards and has also received recognition for his movie titles this awards season. He can now add XRCO to that list. Mimefreak was honored with a nomination for Best Director (Non-Features) from the X-Rated Critics Organization. This is his first nomination from XRCO.
“It’s still surreal to me that I’m a category of being something important in our industry,” says General Manager and Director MimeFreak. “Being recognized is one thing, but being nominated for Best Director is astonishing. I’d like to thank XRCO and everyone on the panel for considering me for such an amazing award.”
The 32nd XRCO Awards Show is taking place on June 22nd at OHM in Hollywood. MimeFreak will be walking the red carpet, attending the show, and finding out if he takes home the coveted award. The XRCOs are an industry-only event, and more information about them can be found at http://www.xrco.com/.

The name says it all—MimeFreak is a true original. He got his start directing movies for Black Ice, Third Degree, Open Life Entertainment, Juliland, and Evil Angel before moving on to Elegant Angel, as one of their star directors, shooting and directing for some of their top lines, including Performers of the Year, Slutwoman, Anal Freaks and Up That White Ass. Now, he’s the head director and the creative influence behind ArchAngel and their rising success as a brilliant studio. His work has been described as “raw” that is beautifully shot and features unscripted, hot fucking sex. He’s received countless nominations for his movies and his directing prowess from AVN and XBIZ. In 2016, he received his first XRCO Awards nomination for Best Director.
