The Trans Erotica Awards (TEAs) posted their official ticket policy and guestlist today, available at theTEAShow.com. The upcoming TEAs are a two-day event held March 8 and 10 at the Avalon in Hollywood headlined by Mistress of Ceremonies, Domino Presley.
“Two years ago, we pivoted the TEAs from being a public event to an industry-only one,” explained TEA Executive Producer, Kristel Penn. “This was a purposeful move on our part and one that we will continue with this year. We find this allows performers to feel safer celebrating at the events and it’s something we’d like to cultivate for our community.”
Performer nominees listed in categories such as Best New Face, Best Solo Model, Best Hardcore Performer, Ms. Unique, Best Internet Personality, Best Non-US Performer, Best Non-Trans Performer, Best Transmasc Performer, Best Cam Performer, and Best Content Creator receive free admission to the TEAs and must RSVP to the guestlist to attend. Any models who have worked with Grooby are also eligible to RSVP to the guestlist.
As per the TEAs ticket policy, the event does not issue any +1 to nominated performers, but do have a limited number of tickets that accompanying guests may be able to purchase if they meet listed criteria. All income from these purchases will be donated to the Free Speech Coalition (FSC) and other worthy causes.
Table seating on the main floor is reserved for sponsors and guests who have purchased VIP tables (limited space available). Sponsors receive a set number of tickets and due to the limited space on the main floor, the TEAs will be strictly enforcing its seating policy.
Penn noted, “This year we will not be giving passes to content creators, industry, or others unless they fulfill one of the above conditions, but we do have affordable sponsorship opportunities for those in these categories.”
