Burbank firefighters on Monday knocked down a small kitchen fire at Sardo’s Grill and Lounge that caused an estimated $35,000 in damage, officials said.
At 7 a.m., nearly two dozen firefighters responded to the restaurant, located in the 200 block of North Pass Avenue, where they knocked down the blaze in 16 minutes, said Burbank Fire Battalion Chief Kenet Robertson.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
