Amateur pornographer Mike South has refused to specifically address any of the very serious charges that have been leveled at him by multiple performers — charges that Peter Warren summarized in AVN yesterday — namely that:
South performed in a scene in January for his site StipperFacials.com involving condom-less vaginal and oral sex without providing any test results for himself to his female scene partner; that he has shot multiple scenes for his site SouthernBukkake.com for which the only testing utilized for the male talent was the “OraQuick” oral swab-based home HIV test; and that he even employed one male performer in a bukkake shoot with no test whatsoever, on the basis that said performer “was vouched for by the [female] talent.”
As revealed in TRPWL, South does not require full STI testing on all of his shoots, nor does he consistently use condoms — instead he apparently relies on his so-called “common sense”, based in part on “an interview process” with talent.
According to AVN’s Peter Warren:
AVN contacted South for a response to these accusations, and while he offered no specific rebuttals to any of them, he did state, “Consider the source … of course they are without merit but in all honesty I feel no reason to defend myself against someone who is simply clearly trying to libel my good name and reputation to build his own credibility.”
So, TRPWL publishes the testimony of three performers, plus a screenshot of the STD testing status of one of them — and in response South calls TRPWL’s reporter, Michael Whiteacre, a liar, and feels no reason to provide any answers.
Uh-huh…
South also told AVN, “I have an OSHA compliance person on every single one of my sets.”
Here is Jessica Chase‘s response to that claim:
LMFAO! Is he serious? That’s such BS.
There was NO ONE ELSE in the room for our boy/girl [January 10, 2014]. I got in later in the evening. We shot the boy girl then. I repeat, no one else in the room. He is lying his ass off!
There was no one else with us on the trip to Florida either. When Lindsey Lovehands and I shot it was just us and South in the house as Lindsey’s husband was at work.
I really appreciate you guys being through and making sure people in the industry are aware of such a narcissistic, blatant disregard for performer safety. Mike South’s ego literally outweighs his judgment. It’s pathetic.
Okay, Mr. South, lets make this easy for you:
* Please provide proof of an “OSHA compliance person” on set with you and Jessica Chase on January 10, 2014, at the Embassy Suites Atlanta – Perimeter Center, when you shot your condom-less boy/girl scene with her?
* Please provide proof that you had an “OSHA compliance person” on hand when you shot Jessica Chase and Lindsey Lovehands in Florida in February? Who on that trip would have been your “OSHA compliance person” for the scene between you and Chase that you proposed but she refused to do?
* Please provide proof of your own STD status evidencing you had current test results for all of the STIs you mentioned in your self regulation recommendations to the adult industry (HIV, chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Hep A B and C, HPV, and Syphilis) at the time of the Victoria Quinn and Jessica Chase shoots.
* Please provide proof of that you were shown an STI lab result for Jessica’s friend Brian, who appeared in one of the bukkake scenes you shot.
* Please provide proof that you demanded, and received, full STI lab results for the aforementioned STIs from every performer in your shoots with Jessica Chase and Victoria Quinn.
If you were what you pretend to be, this would be easy, South.
