Ameena Green, a creative force and increasingly recognized content creator, is excited to announce her participation in Blerdcon 2025, a convention celebrating Black culture within the nerd community. The event will take place from March 7–11, 2025, at the Hyatt Crystal City, located at 2799 Richmond Highway, Arlington, VA.

This year’s Blerdcon theme, “THRILLA!! Yew Skerd!,” promises to immerse attendees in a spine-chilling experience inspired by horror. The convention will shine a spotlight on Black writers, cosplayers, storytellers, and artists within the horror niche, ensuring a thrilling yet celebratory weekend for all attendees. Blerdcon fosters an inclusive environment, extending a warm welcome to all, including members of the LGBTQ community, individuals with disabilities, people of color, and international guests, to share in its rich and dynamic nerddom showcase.

Ameena Green—a trailblazer who launched the A3 Magajin Magazine in December 2024—shares her excitement for the event. “I am so excited to be invited to Blerdcon,” said Green. “The group there offers such a sense of community, and I’m looking forward to meeting with fans. Attendees can look forward to engaging with Green as both an exhibitor and a panelist. She will share her personal story, discuss her passion for nerd culture, and explain how she got started in content creation and adult cinema. Green’s dual role reflects the convention’s spirit of blending entertainment with meaningful dialogue.
