I’ll Tell You Who It’s Not

Even thou I’m not one of the big boy blogs and no one take me serious I’ve gotten at least 30 texts and DMs in reference to Manuel Ferrara and the positive syphilis test. I can tell you IT IS NOT HIM. He’s FINE and shooting.

Common sense would tell you it’s not him. But then the way this came out showed lack a lack of common sense

I had a conversation with someone who told me they alerted the press cuz they cared about the industry. Well I call bull shyt. If you cared you wouldn’t have did what you did.

You created a huge shyt storm that could have been avoided had certain things been in place. But your concern was for yourself and damn all the speculation and rumors. All you care about is yourself. Not the people who put money in your pocket.

  • Alerting the press to get the word out about a health situation is tantamount to an admission of the abject failure of your "model system" for performer health and safety.

Performer health is too important to be left to the rumor-mill, hearsay and scuttlebutt -- or to be premised upon the honesty and openness of any performer who's suddenly been placed in a very difficult and stressful situation.

The TTS "confederacy" model has failed, and its proponents (and profiteers) need to suck it up, and back the integrated industry-wide comprehensive database model.

If not, treatable syphilis will be only a warm-up for the nightmare of a genuine re-visiting of 1997-98. Ernest Greene, Anthony Kennerson and their school of thought have had it right all along; I don't think it's even arguable anymore after this clown show.

I would say 'I told you so,' but I'd have to stand in a long line behind Messrs. Greene and Kennerson, and many others who, like me, remember why AIM was necessary in the first place.
