• To be clear, while the Lubbens own this property (their former residence), they have now moved to a substantially larger and more expensive house ($480K in today's market -- IN BAKERSFIELD no less).

  Was it coincidence that Shelley decided to sell the house right after my interview with Michele Avanti (Madelyne) was released, exposing the goings-on inside the house on Elias Ave, as well as the fact that no one was recovering inside her nonprofit group's "Recovery Home"?

• She is selling a $233K house for $180K minus the negotiating that is done in any house sale. Want to take bets that she is six months behind on the payments and wants to sell before the bank finishes foreclosure? Lub-head might lose again, this time a house. Someone in the county where the house is located may want to search public records and confirm (or knock down) my hunch in about 3-6 more months.

• Interestingly, Kern County records show the Lubbens' recorded conveyances, reconveyances, and deeds of trust involve MERS, the CA Dept of Veterans Affairs (Garrett was in the army), a bank, and mortgage lenders including Secured Funding Corp.

  Let's not forget, she just moved in to a $480,000 house AND she also pays the rent of her "servant" Melanie. And we know that her donations are down.

• Evidently there isn't a foreclosure filing on Lub-head as of yet but this does confirm one thing -- she and her husband/slave are in debt up to their necks. As foreclosure is usually not started until the house is six months behind I am not too surprised at its absence but my suggestion to check in 3-6 months still stands. With donations down since Michael's expose on Lub-head about five months ago, I would bet dollars to doughnuts that the mortgage payments on at least the second home are way behind right now.

  • Everything about Lubben is an overdone caricature -- most often of porn performers. It would not surprise me to learn that, just like the shallow idiots she presumes all performers to be, she had spent her money as fast as she earned it -- or faster.

    You never see her in the same outfit twice, she wears flashy jewelry and sunglasses, and lives (as several former associates have remarked) "in luxury." Her hubby Gary the former drug dealer from Chino now earns a good living, but it's not hard to imagine that Shelley became accustomed to a certain lifestyle predicated upon donations being sustained or increasing. Plus you just KNOW that the lack of publicity for herself, personally, of late is EATING HER UP. Not getting to strut around the last two porn conventions and the upcoming AEE show, not being included in AHF's last "FAIR" ballot initiative press conference -- she lives for that kind of attention.

    The beginning of the end was the flop at Cambridge, in February. I timed the release of the first two parts of the documentary with her trip to the UK, and as suspected she had a total meltdown, resulting in her having to spend time in a psych ward of some kind upon her return.

    The next disaster was the June Cal/OSHA meeting in LA, in which the worst suspicions of the Standards Board were confirmed: Shelley Lubben was proven to have NO constituency in the ranks of active performers. Instead, she was publicly insulted an derided by one and all (led, very effectively by Shy Love) on a day where Danny Wylde, myself and others masterminded the largest industry turn-out in the history of the process.

    The tipping point was October 2011, when the revelations of both Michelle Avanti and Shelley's own family hit her from both sides.

    Shelley, being a fool who doesn't think things through (a lifelong trait, per her family), made some *unwise* choices in the wake of those revelations. I believe that the court proceeding in Visalia later this month will bear this out, as some of the things to which I refer will be read into the record in open court.

    No doubt she's in denial about much of this, but it's clear from her recent actions behind the scenes that, at least on some conscious level, she's now aware that this is a fight she has a very strong chance of losing. I don't just mean the upcoming hearing; I can assure you, there are more serious legal and economic issues headed her way (the revelations of October were just the beginning; that's all I can say).

    People like Shelley -- and by that I mean frauds, liars and charlatans, not to mention former career criminals -- really don't like walking into courtrooms. Unfortunately for her, she and her accomplices and co-conspirators may well be spending a substantial amount of time inside courthouses and the offices of regulators in the near future.

    The sick part is, Shelley will never concede; she will insist on going down in flames. I, along with the growing army of those she has wronged, stand ready to oblige her.
