She originally claimed that her sex tape was ‘personal’ and never intended it to be seen by the public.

But it seems that former Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham has cashed in on the steamy video she made with porn star James Deen, reportedly selling the rights for nearly $1 million.

According to TMZ, the 21-year-old secured the staggering deal with company Vivid Entertainment after months of negotiations.

Clearly looking to extend her 15 minutes of fame, Farrah is about to hit screens in the 70-minute long video, which was professionally produced.

The film, called Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom, is sure to set her profile soaring after it is distributed by the well-known company, hoping to follow in the footsteps of Kim Kardashian.

The young mum is thought to have been in talks with Vivid’s head honcho Steve Hirsch for some time, after trying to shop the tape around to the highest bidder.

She was spotted heading into the company’s head office with her four-year-old daughter Sophia and her father last week, adding to speculation that she was about to sign a lucrative deal.

TMZ spoke to Hirsch after the meeting, who said he was ‘surprised’ Farrah brought her daughter along to the meeting and described the footage as ‘amazing’ and ‘very explicit’.

The reality star reportedly sent Vivid a cease and desist letter blocking the tape’s release after they refused to pay her $2 million for the rights originally, but clearly Farrah has had a rethink.

The mother-of-one, who denied that the tape even existed when the news first broke, has tried to pursue a singing career and has recently released her own memoirs, My Teenage Dream Ended.

But it seems that the explicit sex tape, which she said she made in a bid to ‘immortalize her youthful physique’, could be the spring-pad she needs to make her name.

Speaking out about his part in the video, porn star Deen, 27, admitted that the company who produced it asked him to pretend he was actually dating Abraham.

He told Today.com: ‘They wanted to send us out on a date and then call the tabloids to come.’

‘I told them that I am not a prostitute and I’m not going to go on fake dates with people for the tabloids… If you’re going to make a celebrity sex tape and try to pass it off as an amateur home video, you don’t hire a well-known porn star!’

According to Perez Hilton’s website, Farrah didn’t even want to do the tape, but felt that it was the only way for her to make money.
