‘Saving Humanity’ Wraps Principal Photography
MAY 7, 2013 – TARZANA, CA – AMKingdom’s upcoming sci-fi feature “Saving Humanity” has wrapped principal photography and started its extensive digital post-production phase. In addition to top billed star James Deen (“The Canyons”), the multi-talented cast includes Andy San Dimas (“Drive”), Celeste Star (“Revenge of the Petites”), Riley Reid, Skin Diamond, Sinn Sage, Tara Lynn Foxx, Sativa Verte (“Revenge of the Petites”), and more.

The official cast photo for “Saving Humanity” may be seen here.

The feature is co-directed by AMKingdom.com owner Kim Nielsen and “Revenge of the Petites” writer / director Harry Sparks; “Saving Humanity” was also co-written by Sparks and Nielsen. Award-winning cinematographer Jinish Shah (XBIZ Awards’ 2013 Best Cinematography, “Revenge of the Petites”) returned to helm the camera as the Director of Photography.

“‘Saving Humanity’ is our most ambitious project to date,” says Nielsen. “We’ve brought in the most professional and gifted talent in the industry, on screen and behind the camera. This is going to be quite the film when it is released; we’re extremely proud.”

The AMKingdom.com sophomore offering is described as a cautionary tale about what may lie ahead for society: After getting a glimpse of a disastrous future, a scientist from the year 2054 travels back in time to the Prehistoric Era, the 1950s, and 2013, to recruit a team of gifted young women in an effort to defeat the evil Corporation and save the human race from extinction.

“Saving Humanity” also stars adult performers Cindy Starfall, Ana Foxxx, Ela Darling, Seth Dickens, Anthony Rosano, Alex Chance, and Beryl Aspen, plus numerous extras.

“It was so much fun working on this project,” says James Deen. “It’s a novel concept with a strong message, a great script, and an absolutely fantastic cast. The whole team was amazing to work with, and I’m looking forward to seeing the end result.”

The film also includes a large choreographed dance number, with an exclusive song written and produced for the film and sung by Andy San Dimas. “My ‘Saving Humanity’ experience crossed the people I love from porn with the grandiose production hierarchy of mainstream film,” says Ela Darling. “Dance class was arduous, but when your porno classmates cool down by stripping and goof off by twerking and exchanging lap dances, it's hard not to have a great day. Repeating the same physically challenging dance scene was frustrating, but James Deen lightened the blow by leading us all in a sudden ‘Little Mermaid’ sing-along. It was a unique and special experience.”

Cindy Starfall echoes Ela’s sentiment, adding, “I really enjoyed being on set with AMKingdom.com; I had a blast getting to know everyone, and working with such professional people!”

As the film enters its digital post-production phase, the burden of creating the computer-generated visuals for the film fall on Digital Dave of Triple-X Effects. “Now that shooting is complete, the heavy work begins on my end,” says Digital Dave. “Many scenes have elements that need to be added with CGI, such as a saber-toothed tiger in our prehistoric scenes, or our mysterious floating monolith. Other scenes were filmed on green screen, so the entire world our characters inhabit needs to be created from scratch. There are even shots, such as our shuttlecraft escape, that need to be created entirely within the computer. It’s a huge task, but fortunately we got the ball rolling back in January, so much of the work is already well under way."

“Saving Humanity” will seek a R-rating from the MPAA for the film, which will receive theatrical, DVD, VOD, and cable distribution. Nielsen plans to first release “Saving Humanity” as an R-rated movie, followed by a Director’s Cut, which will include sex scenes. The mainstream release date is slated for September 2013; the XXX Director’s Cut will be released in January 2014.

AMKingdom’s debut feature, “Revenge of the Petites,” received multiple AVN and XRCO award nominations, a Feature Movie of the Year trophy at the 2012 Urban X Awards, and a Gold Kush award for Feature Film (XXX Category) at the Humboldt International/420 Awards.
