Nyomi Banxxx Debuts Kickstarter Campaign to Benefit ‘Chocolate Radio’

Online Radio Station Turns to Listeners to Help Upgrade Equipment & Expand Programming

Adult star turned radio personality Nyomi Banxxx is debuting her fund-raising campaign on Kickstarter.com to benefit online radio station, ChocolateRadio.net.

“For over a year, ChocolateRadio.net has been providing listeners with unique, quality entertainment, but as our station grows, so does our need for bigger and better equipment, programming, and promotion,” says Banxxx. “We started from scratch with basic equipment, allowing our voices to be heard, however it’s time to improve our audio and phone systems with state-of-the-art units because our listeners deserve it.”

Featuring a goal of $30,000, the campaign will run from September 10 to October 10, 2014. Donors are offered a variety of rewards for supporting the effort, including autographed posters and calendars, on-air shout outs, the chance to co-host a show, and more. Known for her work as an adult performer, Banxxx transitioned into radio as a popular host three years ago with shows on Playboy Radio and Sirius/XM Satellite Radio. On the heels of that success, the sexy entrepreneur establishedChocolateRadio.net to provide an eclectic mix of lifestyle advice, news, sports, sex, music, female empowerment, and spiritual exploration topics for its adult listeners.

Banxxx created the ChocolateRadio.net flagship show, The Live Show,” during her tenure at Playboy Radio on Sirius/XM. As a fast-paced, segment-driven show, Banxxx shares her opinion on topics including sex, gossip, sports, social issues, and everything in between. Always putting a sexy spin on every topic covered, she gives her audience/listeners an opportunity to be a part of the show, giving them the virtual ability to take on the co-hosting seat.

Adult industry legend Lexington Steele also shares his vast sports knowledge on ChocolateRadio.net’s “4th and Goal,” giving listeners a chance to hear his unique take on the day’s sport events, teams, and personalities.

“This is an opportunity for those who support pioneers in multi-media to participate in the progression of an original platform and the creation of a unique and pioneering initiative,” states Steele. “ChocolateRadio.net reaches a broad demographic online, with the added ingredient of two widely known and appreciated adult icons hosting original programming.”

The “4th and Goal” host adds, “I believe in being a part of something special – you can, as well. Contribute to our fund and become a starter on MY team, as we ‘kickstart’ something special.”

Steele is joined by a variety of radio personalities, such as former runway and promotional model Dazell Yvette, who hosts “Women 2 Women,” and sexy Sapphire, host of “Sapphire’s Earplay.” In October, popular radio personality Marie Davis will host a new spiritual show, “Boldness.”

ChocolateRadio.net goes beyond talk radio, giving listeners a platform to hear music from the hottest new indie artists. Every Thursday evening, Nyomi Banxxx and DJ Da Overseer champion the under dogs on “Untapped” by debuting promising songs and letting listeners vote on whether to “tap it” or leave it “untapped.” The show also features exclusive interviews with the artists behind the music.

Once the money is raised, the funds will go toward acquiring top-of-the-line sound equipment and a new telephone system to allow listeners to hear and be heard with the best possible reception. Funds will also go toward needed software media outlets Live365 and Ustream.tv, and for television cameras for audiences to watch the shows via Ustream.
