The grindhouse-style movie – written by Bret Easton Ellis and directed by Paul Schrader – stars Lindsay Lohan, as Tara, who ‘sold her pride for material comfort,’ alongside porn star James Deen.

The story centers on the dangers of sexual obsession and ambition, both personally and professionally, among a group of young people in their twenties.

According to the press release, ‘One chance meeting connected to the past unravels all of their lives, resulting in deceit, paranoia, cruel mind games and ultimately violence.

Lohan’s character, Tara, is described as ‘sweet as sin’ while Deen is described as a ‘huge new talent’ and ‘the boy next door gone bad.’
