Do your colleagues annoy you? Does your boss grate on you? Does the familiar sight of your desk and your computer and your telephone fill you with dread?
If you’re a sex worker, these are problems that are unlikely to bother you. In fact, the level of job satisfaction among those who work in the sex trade is high, with the majority calling the job ‘rewarding’.
Two thirds of 240 sex workers interviewed by researcers at Leeds University and charity National Ugly Mugs said the work was ‘fun’ while 91 percent said it was ‘flexible’.
The research is the first of its kind to focus on a large sample of workers in the industry.
