VENICE, CA – The most intimate thing Romi Rain has done this year may not be a porn scene, but an interview with Adult DVD Talk that just got posted.
Captain Jack was in Los Angeles and sat down with Romi for a couple hours for what is an extremely honest and insightful interview. Romi discusses her life in front of the camera and off-camera: how to take care of one’s self, drama within the industry, and how things can go terribly wrong all get covered.
In this interview she establishes herself as someone who clearly intends to be taken seriously and one who understands what it takes to be a professional.
“Some people have the mindset, at least the people I talk to and hang out with, the craziness, the drama, the party scene… maybe I’m just too old for it!” she says. “I really care about what I do, because this is my career. So it’s something that I heavily focus on. When you first come into the industry, the new girls get shot a lot. You have to prove that you’re not a flash in the pan. You have to prove you have the longevity. There’s a lot of girls that don’t last even two years. I think it takes a hot second to get into that mindset. I’m silly, but I’m not going to giggle my way through an interview. I want people to know, whether they like me or not, that I am a professional. That I am going to put my best fuck forward. At the very least, I want to be respected as a performer.”
She got some of that respect with the announcement that she received a Best Boobs nomination for the 2015 NightMoves Awards. With the incredible 2015 she is having there will clearly be many more nominations coming her way later this year for the 2016 season.
