Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as XXXX PKA Amara Romani .

STATUS: The decedent’s body is ready to be released. The ruling by the deputy medical examiner is deferred pending additional investigation.

Manner and cause of death will be added to this page when it becomes available.

Because the DME has ordered drug screening to be done, the next public update may take three to five months.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 3:49 a.m.

The decedent was a native of Pennsylvania who had moved to the L.A. area about 10 years ago. She leaves behind a son.
