The Sinematographer, Owner/Director of Blush Erotica, highlights the pros and cons of artificial intelligence in adult film, and its implications on audiences in the future.
“As a production company, we have identified multiple ways that AI could easily help create images, graphics and even descriptions for adult film scenes,” he says of the powerful technology. “But when we think of the human factor which gets sacrificed by using AI for actual scenes, it doesn’t feel ‘good’, ethical or even fun.
“As AI improves and adult performers release their likeness for others to use, there will be issues on both sides – models not understanding what they are signing off on, as well as companies taking advantage of a quick way to get things done.”
While AI adult film has a way to go in order to catch up to actual adult film performances, The Sinematographer believes that “it currently doesn’t look great as a whole; bodies could look perfect for the most part, but you’ll notice things like hands that aren’t scaled properly or extra limbs in the image.
“AI has come far from what it was last year and no doubt it will look good soon, but at the end of the day, nothing will replace knowing there is a real person on the other side of the screen; an actress or actor who you could potentially meet and fulfill your fantasies (in theory) or just have a conversation.”
