LOS ANGELES, CA/June 8, 2015 –Stand-up comedian Ralphie May brings his hefty dose of comedy to the June 2015 Pop Shots section of Penthouse Magazine, available on stands now.
Pop Shots might never be the same as May takes creative license as guest art director for this months run. The comedian shares his vision of sexy and the spotlight with Penthouse models Adriana Chechik and Barbie, who pose provocatively alongside May at Bolt Barbers Barber Shop in downtown Los Angeles.
“Ralphie May is a classic funnyman who happens to also have a good eye for what works behind the camera,” said Kelly Holland, Managing Director of Penthouse Magazine. “This job is harder than it looks, but Ralphie understands what makes women beautiful and had some great ideas to contribute to the shoot.”
May, best known for his Comedy Central specials such as “Too Big to Ignore”, “Girth of a Nation” and this year’s Netflix release “Unruly”, was an enthusiastic candidate for the job, announcing to his Twitter followers, “You know how to beat trolls forever? You announce on Twitter that you’re picking models for Penthouse. Photo shoot Monday. Suck it.”
Pop Shots was introduced to readers nearly a year ago, as celebrities such as Dave Navarro, Michael K. Williams and Luenell splashed their fantasies across Penthouse’s pages, much to their fans’ delight.
“Pop Shots is a labor of love, and we are excited when we find people with like-minded ideas who want to contribute their vision to Penthouse,” said Holland. “The idea is to learn more about the celebrity from their vision in the shoot. And so far, we’ve not been disappointed.”
The June 2015 issue of Penthouse is available at newsstands and online via skinmagz.com.
