The Manhattan district attorney will drop all charges against a platinum album-selling rapper who was accused of assault by an adult film performer following a night of partying at a posh downtown nightclub, sources told The New York Post.
Mellanie Monroe claimed that Maino, aka Jerome Coleman, attacked her in his parked SUV outside a Meatpacking District nightclub early on the morning of Oct. 21, 2014 because she refused his sexual advances. The rapper, a Bed-Stuy native, was at The Griffin celebrating the completion of his latest album.
Mellanie Monroe claimed Maino punched her then fled the scene.
