Evil Angel to Participate in AIDS Walk Los Angeles for the 6th Time

October 12 will mark the 30th year of AIDS Walk Los Angeles—and the 6th time that adult studio Evil Angel has participated in the annual fundraiser. According to a notice sent out this week by the studio, the need for the fundraising event remains critical. The release states that there are still “more than 50,000 new infections every year nationwide—and six new infections in Los Angeles each day. At a time when too many people are looking the other way, please help keep our community’s fight against AIDS strong and join the Evil Angel AIDS Walk team TODAY!”

AIDS Walk Los Angeles is a 10-kilometer (6.2-mile) fundraising walk that rasies funds for AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA) and more than 20 other L.A. County AIDS service organizations. Evil Angel is encouraging anyone who’s interested to join the Evil Angel team for an “inspirational day filled with energy, excitement, hope and thousands of people determined to build an AIDS-free generation.”

Though it is not mandatory to register or donate, the studio hopes that all who walk with the Evil Angel team will either raise or donate at least a small sum.

Or participants can visit the AIDS Walk Los Angeles website at AIDSwalk.net/losangeles and click on “Register” at the top, and then on “Form or Join a Team” in the drop-down menu. Click the “Join a Team” box, then choose “Evil Angel – 1675” from the drop-down menu under “Join an existing Team.”

Volunteers can also register By phone by calling the AIDS Walk office at (213) 201- 9255. Give the team name (Evil Angel – 1675) when registering.

Evil Angel has twice been a Top 20 fundraising team, so the pressure is on. According to the company statement, “We encourage you to select the option to join the Star Walkers Club when you register. This means you will set a goal to raise at least $1,000. There is no penalty if you raise less, but lots of great perks if you meet or exceed the goals, including a chance to win a night out at PUMP Lounge in West Hollywood.”

The release concludes, “Please encourage your family and friends to register to walk with our team—the more, the merrier! This year Francesca Lé, Jay Sin and other Evil directors and stars will be walking on the Evil Angel team.”
