Man gained entry through back door
A different kind of Christmas Grinch struck in Brookhaven Tuesday afternoon.
According to police, this one not only steals from the house, he also makes himself at home while the owners are away.
We’re in the middle of Christmas break, and that means high school students are home all week, and sometimes while their parents are away at work.

That was the case when a teenage girl disrupted a shocking scene taking place in the living room of her apartment on Skyland Drive in the Bryton Hill Apartments.
Joyce Walker is her next door neighbor. She recalled how the girl knocked on her door and appeared to be on the verge of hyperventilating.
“She said she went in the apartment, and someone was sitting on the sofa, looking up porn,” Walker said.
