Never under estimate the power of hot half naked porn-stars walking around a hotel for 3 days. Hard Rock Las Vegas, the host hotel for the 2014 AVN awards show doubled and in some instances tripled their normal room rates for 3 days during AVN.

Keep in mind those prices don’t include the $22 a day resort fee. On top of which the place is a dump. There isn't one good restaurant in it. They don't enforce the no smoking rules so even the non-casino areas give you lung cancer in a matter of hours. The rooms are small and dark. In short, even at the regular price it's a rip. At double the price it's highway robbery. I used to go every year. After the first time at the HR, I quit altogether.
