Canadian porn star turned Bollywood starlet Sunny Leone was barred from entering the central Indian city of Indore, according to Indian news publication the Times of India (TOI).
Leone was scheduled to visit a local mall to promote her upcoming film Ragini MMS2, but she was apparently refused to enter its premises.
According to TOI, it’s rumoured that a Hindu radical group threatened violence if the star appeared at that location.
The film’s production house, Balaji Telefilms, denied comment on the issue, reported TOI.
TOI also reported that Leone and her crew’s Indore hotel bookings were put on hold.
