Wednesday’s feature in The Atlantic on Reddit’s popular AMA (Ask Me Anything) sessions highlighted a selection of people who have offered themselves up to be interrogated by the site’s 2.5 million subscribers — including President Barack Obama and adult film star Siri.

Siri’s mention in the piece by Alexis C. Madrigal is a scant six short paragraphs away from President Obama on the list of notable individuals who have “stood before the IamA subcommunity on the social network Reddit, and typed those immortal letters, ‘AMA.'”

Siri’s entry reads: “”IAm Siri, award-winning porn star, 2013 Top Writer on Quora, and swinger. AMA!”

The former AVN Best New Starlet nominee tells TRPWL, “I’m humbled and genuinely surprised that The Atlantic chose my AMA to highlight. I mean, it was the most outspoken and controversial porn star AMA, if the interwebs are to be trusted.”

Siri’s AMA was controversial because she took a solid position against digital piracy — a stance she was forced to defend against blistering attacks.

The Atlantic piece comments that “Reddit’s question-and-answer format imports the aspirational norms of honesty and authenticity from pseudonymous Internet forums into mainstream interviews.”

Siri explains, “I persevered and did my best to adhere to the spirit of the AMA by answering as many questions as I possibly could, as thoroughly and honestly as possible. My AMA rated over 1600 comments and I appreciate the opportunity to interact with so many community members.”
