Popular New York City podcast, The SDR Show, hosted by rock radio personality Ralph Sutton and comedian Big Jay Oakerson, will welcome TV personality Carson Kressley for a Queer Eye for the Straight Guy reunion this Monday night live at 9pm EST/6pm PST at www.thesdrshow.com/live.
14 years ago, Ralph Sutton, a strip club DJ and the host of a newly syndicated hard rock radio show, The Tour Bus, got a “Make Better” on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy on and the episode was the highest rated of its first year on Bravo-TV.
“It’s over a decade later and it’s time to see if Carson and the rest of the QE crew’s lessons stuck with me,” says Ralph. “I can’t wait to see the man who is responsible for one of the best memories of my life.”
Ralph Sutton who is a columnist for www.socialunderground.com writing about his perennial bachelorhood, was set up on a date with a “nice girl” on his episode of Queer Eye, because his friends and family complained about him mostly dating the strippers he met at his DJ job at Lace in New Jersey. The Fab Five also cleaned up his long-haired, scruffy rocker look to help take his career to another level.
“I’m sure Big Jay will enjoy telling Carson how I now frequently date women who are half my age and don’t speak English,” jokes Ralph.
Kressley will be promoting his latest book, Does This Book Make My Butt Look Big and his new season as a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race.
