Seth Gamble is pleased to announce the release of After Hours, the stylish first scene of Enigma, his latest collaboration with Los Angeles-based filmmaker, cinematographer, and editor Siren Obscura. Starring himself and Vanna Bardot, the ambitious CinemaScore sequence is now available on LucidFlix.com.
In Enigma, Gamble and Obscura transport viewers to a captivating world of seduction and betrayal, one imbued with a compelling ability to capture the essence of the forbidden. As passion and deception intertwine, the line between desire and danger blurs, pushing art to the edge of obsession in a thrilling pursuit of truth. In the shadowy realm of Enigma, every moment has the potential to reveal a secret or seal one’s erotic fate.
As After Hours begins, a seductive exotic dancer (Bardot) proves she can mesmerize more than just the large boa constrictor snake she uses as a prop to captivate a club patron (Gamble). As he slowly, inexorably falls under her spell, she invites him to the stage, where the mood turns sexually heated, and the dance becomes much more than a show…
“I’m incredibly grateful to have such a wonderful collaborator in Siren Obscura,” expressed Gamble. “She can take my creative vision, combine it with her aesthetic, and seamlessly apply it to the technical side of the production, which is exactly what you see happening throughout Enigma. She brings ideas to life through the camera lens, arranging locations, props, and people in order to best convey the details and enhance the mood we set out to evoke.”
Of his After Hours co-star, Gamble enthuses, “Vanna Bardot brought that classic burlesque dancer look to life. She fleshed out an entire character through her movements and interactions with the snake. She’s stunning. When we conceived this scene, Siren and I agreed that we had to get Vanna for the part. Our chemistry on screen was undeniable and this is one of my favorite visual scenes I’ve ever been in and shot.”
