• Lubben no different from any other Jesus pimp. Don't matter how much they lie, because the people that send them money are too stupid to figure it out. It is slightly more respectable than cold calling grannies with stock scams.

  Did anyone get screen grabs of Lubben's brother's two responses to Shelley handing over one of his old emails on LIB? I think it was Cindi's last post before the site went down altogether. Those responses were good, but I failed to get the screen grabs, myself. Darnit!

  Desperation is a stinky cologne. Lubben's "foundation" is now being forced to reveal itself as what it really has always been: a platform for an anti-porn activist to attack the industry which denied her fame in 1994. The pretense that Pink Cross can lead, or has EVER led, people out of the adult industry and "HEAL" them is destroyed. Gone -- like a July snow.

  Lubben can roll with this change but the question now becomes, how does she write off the payments on her Elias Avenue house now that nobody in "recovery" from porn is living in the "recovery home"? A trailer trash hooker and a 37-year old chronic masturbator IN THE EMPLOY OF PINK CROSS don't cut it as "victims" of porn in "recovery."

  The most remarkable part of the "recovery home" scandal is that Shelley Lubben never once considered it an impediment to her scheme to not have any trained staff. Instead, she simply bestowed titles upon these two losers -- one of whom (Jenni) lacks even a high school diploma.

  @Crunkleschwitz - There will always be an audience of people who stand willing to be fooled, but I know for a fact that Lubben's critics have hurt her scam. I've been contacted by more than a DOZEN former Pink Cross contributors who are horrified by the various revelations about Mrs. Lubben, going back to the release of episodes 1 & 2 of The Devil and Shelley Lubben.

  Furthermore, Maddy tells me that Lubben BEGGED her, when she left, "please DON'T contact Michael Whiteacre."

  Now, with her own family coming out against her fabrications, and exposing her obvious mental, spiritual and emotional problems through her crazed email exchanges with family members, Christian people who would never believe a pro-porn voice are suddenly in play.

  Hey -- I implored her to stop, and to come clean; her family implored her to stop and to reconcile with them; Lydia implored her to be more transparent; but Shelley Lubben only listens to that little voice inside her. And, no, it's not Yahweh (as she refers to G-d, with whom she claims to be on a first-name basis), or Jesus Christ, or Buddha, or even Yoda. It's the inner voice of a deeply self-loathing woman who knows she's done horrible things but can't accept that fact, so instead she tries to fill that bottomless hole inside her by being a manipulative, belligerent, petulant child.

  I pity her.

• I pity her, too, and I pity people who know what she's about who still promote her because they seem to think that "something is better than nothing." Being preyed on by porn predators and then being preyed on by anti-porn predators is just a double dose of abuse. Some people just astound me with the level of ignorance they display. Incredible!

  • Crunkleschwitz, that is a good observation -- especially when it is applied to Lub-Head Lubben. According to an interview conducted by Michael Whiteacre (the interviewee's name I cannot really remember but the video is on Michael's website), Lub-Head is using heavy amounts of alcohol and Xanax and IIRC she was providing scheduled medications to at least one of her "patients" that happened to have an addiction issue. That isn't good for someone like Lub-Head who has had addiction issues in the past and could signal a complete relapse either in progress or coming up very soon! Recent clips of Lub-Head also show her exhibiting "pressured speech" which is very fast, almost unintelligible speech and is predictive of an upcoming psychotic episode (which she is apparently being treated for unsuccessfully as the same referenced video stated she was using Seroquel, an anti-psychotic used for schizophrenia and bipolar I/manic depression).

    BTW, 150 Vicodin (hydrocodone/APAP) a month is actually a legitimate dosage for moderate to severe pain. Addicts use 300 plus a month in general (another brand of the same active drug allows up to 360 per month legitimately but most docs would give morphine or oxycodone instead if a patient's pain was severe enough to call for that dosage).
