A transgender woman who attempted to sue her ex-boyfriend for keeping her surgically removed testicles, which were kept inside his fridge, has lost her case.
Brianna Kingsley, from Michigan, filed a small claims petition last year alleging her ex, William Wojciechowski, “retains possession of my surgically extracted testicles, preserved in (a) Mason jar, kept in (the) fridge next to the eggs.” In a handwritten affidavit, the 40-year-old requested the immediate return of her “human remains specimen” and demanded $6,500 in damages.
But William, 37, claimed he’d already thrown out the testicles and filed a counterclaim for $6,500, saying he’d been “humiliated” by worldwide news coverage of the case. District Judge Jeremy Bowie denied both of the former lovers’ claims on Wednesday (February 7).
