War Machine extradited to Nevada, booked in Clark County Detention Center

Former Bellator MMA and UFC fighter Jonathan “War Machine” Koppenhaver was booked in the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas early Saturday morning, booking logs show.

Charged with the brutal beating of his porn star ex-girlfriend Christy Mack on Aug. 8, Koppenhaver, was arrested at a hotel in a Simi Valley, Calif. on Aug. 15, following a week-long manhunt.

Mack was hospitalized and, through a published written statement, said that she suffered 18 broken bones around her eye, a broken nose, missing teeth, and a ruptured liver.

Koppenhaver, 32, waived extradition at a hearing in Ventura County, Calif., and was transported to Las Vegas early Saturday.

Koppehhaver faces six felony charges of  battery, assault and coercion, and one misdemeanor count of lewdness, court records show.

He is expected to appear in Las Vegas Justice Court for an Arrest Warrant Return Hearing before Justice Melanie Andress Tobiasson on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m.

  • Poor excuse for a man or human being for that matter. He treated her like an MMA opponent. Karma will do the same to him if not worst. Keep your hands off the ladies...that goes for this one and all clowns that think beating a women is an option.
