Yesterday, South posted this gem about the sudden death of veteran male performer Billy Glide:

Apparently he was helping a friend move and the friend had a pet rattle snake. Billy got bit and chose NOT to go to the hospital, most likely because the snake was not legally owned and he didnt want to get his friend into trouble.

He went to sleep and never woke up.

Inarguably one of the most ridiculous stories ever written. A guy gets bitten by a rattlesnake and decides to take a nap instead of going to the ER. Only a total retard would believe a word of this.

As TRPWL has illustrated time and time again, Mike South is a liar. Literally every post on his site needs to be viewed as false until proven true. But even South wouldn’t just make this type of shit up…

If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the last 3 years, it’s that Alana Evans has no concept of what the truth is —  — she has little use for it. Alana is merely an attention-seeker who’s drawn to drama.

While I was a little slow on recognizing how dishonest South was, Alana was easy.

There are primary sources, there are credible sources, and then there’s everyone else who might have heard something. Alana falls in the latter category. Anyone who runs what she says without independent people verifying it is a fool.

Which brings me back to Mike South..Not only did he run it, you can tell he believed it.. Going as far as to say “the snake was not legally owned and he didnt want to get his friend into trouble.

South then took to Twitter to tell the world he has to be at least 95% sure of a story like this before he puts it up..

Then, he gloated about putting his lie up first..

Soon twitter was talking, mostly saying Alana and South got it wrong… Finally realizing he made mistake, South goes and corrects the story then apologizes to lurking reader and his CPA/OSHA person for being wrong…LOL Nope, South never admits he’s wrong, he just went and deleted the 95% tweet and wrote a new story:

As soon as the story went up there were some things that didn’t ring true to me. First a rattlesnake bite isnt usually fatal in an adult, it can be, but in general it is extremely painful with the poison creating violent symptoms including nausea, it’s unlikely anyone would sleep.

I also started hearing that the story wasn’t correct that Billy had died from a drug overdose, specifically GHB and alcohol but others may have been involved.

Billy had been on a downward spiral for a while.

It has been confirmed now that the cause of death was an overdose, it is unclear if it was intentional but it it is believed that it was not.

In the end it doesn’t matter much except that it changes the nature of his death and of the story

So you pulled it? LOL Of course not. South, as soon as your story went up, we all knew things “didn’t ring true”, it’s just too bad it took you 24 hours to figure it out.

What you meant to say was when others told you you fucked up, and when someone who wasn’t ALANA got to you, then you realized you were a total classless fuck up. That’s why you deleted the 95% tweet..

The fact that you wanted to believe this guy was dumb enough to get bit by a fucking snake and not seek medical attention does matter. The fact that you’re so desperate for story you don’t care if it’s a lie does matter.
