BREAKING… Adult production hold LIFTED today — Monday, Oct 20, 2014.
The hold on adult production initiated on Wednesday, Oct 15 is lifted today.
Free Speech Coalition, medical advisors, and other industry leaders are currently finalizing details of lifting the moratorium.
We should have complete info before 3 pm.
The moratorium was called by Free Speech Coalition after a Public Health Department outside of Los Angeles County notified FSC of a possible exposure on an out-of-state film set.
On Friday, the production halt was extended through Monday, “until all tests for possibly affected performers are conclusive.”
As we noted yesterday, this moratorium has been complicated by the fact that FSC/ PASS and the testing centers which serve the adult community were essentially brought in on an existing Public Health Department investigation because, in this instance, the HIV patient was diagnosed outside of the adult performer testing system.
A statement from Free Speech Coalition is expected later today.
UPDATE: The FSC statement may be found here.
