A few minutes ago we received this statement from the owner of ATMLA concerning Clover’s arrest this morning for domestic violence and drugs.
Immediately upon learning of the arrest of Clover this morning, ATMLA severed its relationship with Clover.
The ATMLA family is close knit with high professional standards and we are appalled at his criminal acts. Our industry already unjustly suffers from a tremendous amount of negative stigma. There is no place in this industry for a person who perpetrates domestic violence against women, disrespect for women or a propensity for violence.
Our prayers and sympathy go out to the victims. Mark Schechter explained, “I hope this becomes a lesson for anyone else in this industry who demonstrates this type of behavior that this industry will not tolerate violence against women.”
[…] UPDATE: Clover has been dropped by his talent agent. […]
Given his history of criminal behavior and violence, as well as his recent conviction, adopting a zero tolerance policy might have worked better if it applied previously. Now if producers and directors will shun him, perhaps the right message will finally be sent.
They should have dropped him the first time. Why did they wait until now ?
Good point.
The same could be said about Lickswood attacking a woman last night, good thing Chris completely overwhelmed the little prick.
Chris didn’t overwhelm anyone and no woman was attacked either. Witnessed everything from my seat from beginning to end.. Chris had his ass handed to him on a plate.. Get your fanboi information from credible sources or get off of this board and head over to the hillbilly board which is where your ilk will fit right in for the little time it has left..
Why was he not dropped after the 1st incident.
