On Thursday, Stan Van Gundy was introduced as the Detroit Pistons’ head coach and president of basketball operations.

Friday, he made the rounds of national radio shows, and during his appearance on Stoney & Bill, 97.1 The Ticket, Van Gundy acknowledged he’d been told he resembles adult film legend Ron Jeremy.

“I never heard that until I got in the NBA,” Van Gundy said. “I had no idea who the heck he was. I had to look that up when I was getting all that. All I know is that anybody who is said to look like me should be insulted.”
