A former pastor and now sex-therapist Marc Angenent has opened an online sex shop for devout Christians. The website will spare its visitors dirty language or porn images.
The Dutchman switched from being a priest to becoming a sex-therapist before eventually deciding to apply both his professions in his own venture, Radio Netherlands Worldwide reports.
The former priest was moved by a desire to help Christian believers overcome the feeling of guilt and shame when trying to improve their sex life.
“This internet shop is also a way of bringing out into the open sexual pleasure as a sanctioned topic in the Christian community,” Radio Netherlands Worldwide quotes the shop owner as saying.
Visitors of Angenent’s Liefdestuin (which means the Love Garden) will be spared rom seeing pornographic images and reading bad language, focusing on nothing else but sex goods.
Some conservative Christians are criticizing the project even so, the owner claims he has already started to receive orders.
The Liefdestuin online shop for Christians is not the first one of the kind. Sites offering sex goods for religious people have been online in the United States and elsewhere for a decade.
of course the site isn’t in English but here it is
