Elaina St. James has re-discovered her sexuality in midlife, thanks to her status as ‘OnlyFans’ Favorite MILF’ on the wildly popular platform.
The Midwest Mom started exploring ways to heighten her sexual skills and pleasure in 2021, shortly after signing up to become a creator. “At the time I was turning 54 and thought my best days sexually were behind me; I didn’t feel particularly sensual or sexual, but started taking photos, which then turned into making videos of self-pleasure, and I found this process really turned me on,” she says.
“It opened me up to creating sexual content, and the feedback from fans was such a turn-on to know that they loved watching so much. To realize I had this effect on men, many of them decades younger in their 20’s and 30’s, was very exciting.”
St. James explains that the process was a gradual one: “I began experimenting with different toys, filming in different areas of the house and exploring different solo acts. Then earlier this year, I chose to start filming real sex scenes with male porn stars and at age 55, let’s just say, I leveled up!”
She says that she’s learned a lot from the OnlyFans creator experience: “Age has little to do with sexuality; I am more confident now than I was 30 years ago at age 26 with a perfect body. My body has all the imperfections that time and gravity produce and yet, sexually I’m much more confident and at ease. This has resulted in some phenomenal sexual experiences and pushing boundaries that I never thought I would.
“Mentally you have to get past your self-imposed limitations and the attitude that you are too old to embrace sexuality – you aren’t. You are never ‘too old’ as long as you are alive. It’s important to know what you like and don’t like, find out what you truly enjoy and being clear on expectations and having great communication with your partner.”
Even without a partner, St. James adds that there’s no time like the present to embrace and explore our sexual selves. “There are so many outlets online, whether to watch sexual content or to shop for toys. You do not have to have a significant other to explore your sexuality, so do not let the lack of one stop you. Life is short, find your joy!”
