The OC Weekly notes that two giants in the world of adult, both from Huntington Beach, Calif., will be among the inductees in the 2015 AVN Hall of Fame in Las Vegas later this month.
One is Billy Glide, a “prolific” porn performer who died in 2014, and the other is sex toy wholesaler Ari Suss whom the Weekly reports “is very much alive”.
Glide, the story notes, “made the OC Weekly‘s list above of the ’20 Greatest Adult Film Stars in OC History.’ He appeared in more than 1,300 adult videos, including B. Skow’s Silhouette, which also earned Glide an Adult Video News Award nomination for Best Actor this year.”

Some Glide bios still list snake bite as the cause of death and Huntington Beach as the place where he expired. While Glide was indeed bitten by a snake days before, the Los Angeles County coroner confirms that the 43-year-old died at his residence in that county on May 24 of accidental ethanol intoxication. The coroner noted that an enlarged heart and fatty liver were “other significant causes.”
