Lohan To James Deen: Do Your F*cking Job! [During Filming Of The Canyons]

Lindsay Lohan’s diva antics on set of The Canyon have been caught on tape.

A recording has emerged of the actress blasting the film’s leading man – porn star James Deen – while rehearsing a scene.

The audio, which was first obtained by TMZ, was captured on the third day of production.

Director Paul Schrader can be heard telling the pair to walk through a scene and ‘take it all the way to the kiss… because that’s certainly going to be important.’

When the scene goes wrong, a furious Lindsay blasts: ‘No, can you do it … Please James, say your line as you’re walking over … cause we’re doing rehearsal … do your f*cking job.’

Deen attempts to defend himself, however she cuts him short: ‘I didn’t say anything, I said just walk over … and do your f**king job.’

The director is then heard saying: ‘Alright, I’ve had it … I’m tired.’

Lindsay added: ‘So have I.

The leaked recording comes just a day after the release of a New York Times article which documented her nightmarish behavior on the set of the low budget movie.

Writer Stephen Rodrick had complete access to director Paul Schrader, both before and during filming.

He describes how the 26-year-old troubled star had a huge meltdown ahead of her racy scenes, forcing 65-year-old Schrader to strip down himself in order to put her at ease.

He took the decision after the actress locked herself inside a closet before filming a four-way with three porn stars.

After finally luring her out, Schrader, Deen and two other actors all removed their clothes to make Lohan feel more comfortable.

And it did the trick, as Rodrick says the racy scene only took 14 minutes to film.

‘Lohan dropped her robe. Schrader shouted action, and they filmed the scene in one 14-minute take. About halfway through, Lohan looked directly into the camera and flashed a dirty, demented smile at Schrader,’ Rodrick recalls.

But the problems with Lohan did not stop there.

According to Rodrick, Lohan caused all sorts of havoc during filming for the microbudget movie, which was filmed for just $250,000. (Lindsay’s contract stipulated that she would get just ‘$100 a day and an equal share of the profits, but no vote in decision-making’, with the sex scenes described as ‘non-negotiable’.)

Rodrick says that even before filming got off the ground, the Mean Girls star was already fired and rehired.

After not showing up for a read through with Schrader and actor Deen, the furious director gave the flame-haired star her marching orders.

He had told cast members at a previous read-through, to which Lohan showed up late, that he had an actress from Paris on hold in case Lohan tripped up.

‘Lindsay said she couldn’t make it today, and I told her that was fine, but I have an actress in Paris waiting by the phone,’ he had said.

Following her firing, Lohan panicked, and showed up at Schrader’s Los Angeles hotel, pounding on the door to his room, sobbing and begging him to take her back for 90 minutes in the hallway.

Her excuse? Lohan had told Schrader that she missed the read through because she was awake until 3am and then took a sleeping pill.

After gathering the rest of the cast at a cafe and showing them Lohan’s performance versus the French actress’s performance, the cast all agreed that Lohan was the better star, and Schrader decided to give her another chance.

Lohan was eventually hired back, but her time on set was peppered with problems.

Rodrick also claims that following a day of filming, Lohan, who has several driving under the influence charges behind her belt, got into a car whilst under the influence of alcohol.

According to Rodrick, the actress was drinking ahead of her graphic sex scene.

Following the take, Lohan left the set and drove away in her Porsche, despite a producer offering her ride.

‘A few minutes later, Schrader yelled cut. The crew packed up. (Braxton) Pope went to check on Lohan. He noticed that she and Gavin had been drinking, which was understandable for a young woman shooting a sex scene with three porn stars,’ Rodrick writes.

‘Quietly, Pope told Lohan that he could get her a driver to take her home. But she refused, jumped into her Porsche and headed down the dark, narrow road toward the PCH. ‘They all hoped they would still have a lead actress in the morning.’
