A twisted Georgia man threatened to kill a porn star the same way two Virginia reporters were murdered, authorities say.
Brian Blankenship of Columbus, Ga., used social media to threaten and harass Malena Morgan, according to the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer newspaper.
Blankenship, who called himself “Joe Cook” online, said on Periscope that he would live-stream his “opening fire on Malena Morgan” in much the same way WDBJ reporter Alison Parker and cameraman Adam Ward were murdered on the air in Virginia in August.
The 25-year-old suspect emailed Morgan as well, threatening “when you walk out of your house and see me it will be to late,” and “you’re next periscope will be your bloody head on a stick bank on it b—-,” the newspaper reported.
Blankenship also wrote “I hope you have protection … I have a 9mm and a shotgun your dead b—- and you won’t see me coming,” and “periscope you’re undoing it’s raw and I will take my own life after you’ve life is gone,” in emails obtained by the paper.
