A burglar who authorities said masturbated on a woman’s deck and then stole her dog was shot when he broke into a second apartment, according to investigators.
The burglar, later identified as Angel Suarez Medero, climbed onto the balcony of a second-floor apartment in Franklin Commons on Bobolink Drive in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, Sunday around 8:40 p.m.
He was caught masturbating before going on on to steal a woman’s dog, police have revealed.
A woman saw the unnamed 21-year-old “touching himself inappropriately” on her balcony and confronted him, according to Bensalem Police director of public safety Fred Harran. 
He broke through the window of the woman’s apartment, where he snatched her dog before escaping. Then he moved on to an apartment one floor below but the resident was a gun owner, and shot him twice.
Medero was in a critical condition today at Aria-Torresdale Hospital.
Police said it is unlikely that the citizen who shot him will face charges.
