Where there’s new technology, there’s porn. Always. Always. But which consumer electronics feature most prominently in pornography? Researchers at Sexualitics have developed Porngram, an interactive graph of the most popular terms in porn titles, that helped us find out.
In their recent paper, Sexualitics performed a “quantitative analysis of online pornography,” combing through nearly 800,000 videos uploaded to Xhamster from 2007 to 2013. Using that data, we looked up how frequently certain words appeared in the titles of pornographic content.
The charts below show how often tech words in different categories (Mobile, Search, Tablets, Consoles, Operating Systems) have shown up in porn titles over the last several years. Who knew Wii was so popular with smut?
