The organizers of a western Quebec music festival say they’re outraged to learn a pornographic movie was filmed, unbeknownst to them, on its grounds in June 2014.
The president and founder of Montebello, QC’s Amnesia Rockfest in 2014, Alex Martel, says the method used by the production company and the nature of the film in question is upsetting for the festival, which has faced criticism in the past.
Concertgoers were approached and recruited by star Pamela Kayne and production company AD4X Videos. According to Indie88, at least 12 festival goers participated.

Martel said he wasn’t happy, but also not surprised because the Rockfest has gained a lot of notoriety. He said many people want to take advantage of the festival’s reputation.
In 2013, Amnesia Rockfest attendees criticized the festival for its “chaotic” site, which left behind a trail of garbage and damaged grounds.
The film producers, meanwhile, defend themselves by saying the project involves consenting adults.
The production company behind the project, AD4X Videos, has tried a similar thing before at the Festival Western de Saint-Tite.

According to the president of the company, André de la Seine, all participants were adults and fully understood they would be filmed and broadcast.
