There were servers walking around the 15th anniversary party for MrSkin.com Friday at the Chop Shop in Wicker Park with trays of mini-cupcakes. My friend grabbed one with vanilla frosting and I grabbed one with chocolate frosting. Right when I was about to eat the under sized dessert in one bite, my friend pointed out a detail I had completely missed: The frosting was in the shape of a pair of breasts.
The Not-Safe-For-Work Mr. Skin has dedicated itself to female celebrity nudity since Chicagoan Jim McBride launched the website in 1999. The erotic cupcakes seemed appropriate given the host. And besides, they fit right in at a party covered by the Naked News crew and featuring appearances by porn stars Ron Jeremy and James Deen.
Upon entering the rented out Chop Shop, guests posed for photos on the red carpet with topless, body-painted models. Guests then made their way toward the main room, where they were treated to performances by aerialists and later a pole dancer as Mr. Skin’s “150 Greatest Celebrity Nude Scenes of All Time” countdown played in the background (Scarlett Johansson’s nude scene in “Under the Skin” was No. 1, in case you’re wondering).
