“Hey, is there any chance that there might be naked pictures of you on the internet?”
That’s what Simone Sonay’s boss asked her on his way out the door one Friday afternoon, over a year ago.
She froze, retorted with a blasé, “Not like it’s any of your business,” and proceeded collecting her belongings to leave for the weekend.
“Huh,” he said. “Must be your twin then.” He winked at her and made his way out the door.
“Have a good weekend,” he said.
Three weeks later, after 10 years of employment with a spotless record, Sonay was fired.
There were, in fact, naked pictures of her on the internet. Sonay had recently launched her career as a porn star, shooting her first scenes at San Francisco’s Kink.com and garnering attention for her unique brand of “Stifler’s mom”-inspired sexuality.
